This year, as well as seeing the progress of the beautiful Paul Bangay designed walled garden, you will be able to enjoy some presentations from our local horticulturists and purchase some of their drought resistant plants and roses.
The presentations are at 11.30am and 2pm by Chris Cuddy from Perennialle Plants and 12pm and 2.30pm by Luke Gordon from Eureka plants.
We also have a floral demonstration throughout the day featuring florist Josephine Marais and her celebration of flowers.
Renowned local artist Melissa Barber will have some of her art on display and will be working on one of her paintings during the day.
Last year the money raised went into the refurbishment of the patient lounge at Canowindra Hospital. This room has now been renovated with new floor covers, curtains and painting.
This year we are hoping to furnish the room with special recliner chairs and other furnishings to provide for patient's comfort.
If you haven't been to Noojee Lea before it is well worth a visit. The historic homestead was built in 1906 and has been beautifully preserved in its original state.
The house sits amidst rolling lawns and beautiful old established trees so plenty of places to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
If you are a return visitor you will enjoy seeing the continued development of the Paul Bangay designed western courtyard and walled garden and the beautiful wisteria walk.
