Canowindra Show President, Stuart Gavin, said the Canowindra community really got behind this year's show.
"It was a really big success," he said.
"I don't think I've seen a show that big for a long time."
Mr Gavin said there was an increase of entries into the Cobley Pavilion and in the different competition sections.

"There was a lot of entries in the pavilion, it's really good to see the support we've got there," he said.
"Even the Prime Lamb section, we've got a pretty tough season at the moment and we still managed to get 97 lambs in excellent condition considering what the last 12 months have been like."
Mr Gavin also noted the number of children who attended over the two days.
"I noticed on Friday night and Saturday there were a lot of kids, I suppose it's school holidays but we were thinking numbers might be down a bit because people will be going away," he said.
"But there were kids everywhere."
Canowindra Show Secretary, Sarah Cummings, put the success of this year's show down to a combination of factors, including the introduction of new events such as the ute show, esky race and the dog high jump, as well as the enthusiasm of the stewards.
"It's a combination of a heap of things," she said.
"Everybody worked so hard in their areas."
Mrs Cummings said there was also a lot of youth involvement this year.
"It really makes a difference when you have new ideas and everyone worked well together," she said.
"Everyone just pulls their weight and then it becomes a bigger and better show."
Mr Gavin congratulated all the winners of the different sections, including Junior and Senior Showgirl and thanked everyone involved in the show, including the committee, sponsors, Central Motors for the Show Office space and anyone who donated prizes or their time.
"Looking forward to next year's show, which will be even bigger and better," he said.
