Ten pairs competed last Friday, the winners being Crock Watt and Joyce Middleton, while runners up were Penny Nash and Nigel Knight.

MIXED PAIRS
Played last Saturday, with Garry and Julie Fairley against Roger Traves and Betty Jenkins. The scores were close throughout this game with the scores level at 22 all after 20 ends. Roger and Betty were able to score four shots on the last end to win the match 26-22.
O'BRIEN CUP (LAST SUNDAY)
Kevin Walker and Dool Beath against Vinnie Mirto and Brad Bourke. After 14 ends Kevin and Dool had a handy lead 22-15, but after this Vinnie and Brad won the next six ends and took out the match 25-23.
SUCCESS IN CUMNOCK
Last Sunday, Roger, Westy and Crock won at the Cumnock Bowling Club President's Day.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16
- Ron and Peggy Lynch Memorial Mixed Triples Day sponsored by Sue and Robert Lynch. $1320 in prize money. Winners and runners up prizes and 3x round prizes. Win and ends. Three games of 10 ends. Round robin tournament with all female/male or mixed teams. Play commences at 9.30am. Two semi finals of four ends and one final of four ends. $90 per team, and includes a Chinese lunch.

Wednesday badge draw will be $350, Friday badge draw will be $200 and Sunday badge draw will be $1050. Bingo this Thursday 11am.
Women's Bowls
FUN DAY
A very enjoyable and successful Fun Day was held on Tuesday, October 22, with 16 teams competing. Visiting teams were Orange City, Orange Ex-Services, Majellan, Manildra, Molong, Parkes, Forbes, Parker Railway Diggers & Young.
The Winners for the day were the team of Liz Thornberry, Maria Wilcoxson (P.R.D), Jeanette Wheeldon and Heather Bailey (Young). Many thanks to Leanne Stevenson for donating the prizes for the winning team.
The runner-ups were the team of Joan Bailey (Cowra), Glyns Ryan (Forbes), Leanne Stevenson and Beryl Flannigan (Majellan).

President Sheryn wishes to sincerely thank the ladies who set up the tables and the trading table on the Monday before the event.
She also wishes to thank all the ladies who assisted in any way on the day itself, by selling the raffle tickets and club numbers, preparing the food, as well as all the ladies who made and donated the beautiful sweets.
Sheryn also wished to thank Tracey, who worked on the bar.
A very sizeable donation will be made to Beyond Blue. Well done bowlers.
MEN'S GOLF
On Sunday we played the 27 Hole 4BBB Championships. Thanks to Debbie Makin for sponsoring the event. 18 Hole Nett winners were Paul McKenzie and Mark Grant with a Nett 58, while A Grade Champions were Ned Grant and Dave Carman with 112 OTS.
Ross Noble and Charles Lawrence were B Grade Champions with 119 OTS, and Brian Moon and Rowley McCall were C Grade Champions with 125 OTS.
This week we play a Three Person Ambrose Pink Day on Saturday, and the 27 Hole Canowindra Open on Sunday.
