Shops and organisations across Canowindra, Eugowra and Cargo have helped to raise awareness of men's health this week by decorating their windows for "Movember".

The Canowindra Business and Progress Association called upon local businesses to help put a spotlight on the cause by turning their storefronts blue.
One of the businesses that took on the challenge was The Blue Bowerbird, owned by the Lawson family.
Warren Lawson, and his daughter Jess, decided to paint the symbol of Movember, a moustache, along with the sentence "Change the face of men's health" in blue.
"Just trying to get the word out about men's health," Jess said.
"This week is men's health week so we thought we would represent it in our window."
The pair also hoped their window would help "get rid of the stigma" surrounding men's mental health and believe there wouldn't be many families who haven't been affected by mental illness.

Throughout this week, there is also a Movember challenge running between Cabonne Council and Oberon Council to see which council area can raise the most money for Men's Health Awareness.
The week will culminate in the Sparkling and Festive Christmas in Canowindra shopping night on November 23 from 3pm until 7pm.
