Major Singles - 2nd round: Diane Slattery defeated Deanna Noble 25-23.
Colleen Crump defeated Jill Messenger 25-15.

Two games of social bowls were played - Julie Wythes, Joyce Middleton and Christine Pickard defeated Sharon Wynn, Jenny Middleton and Betty Jenkins 26-23.
Jeanette Wheeldon, Jeanette Wheeldon and Daph Bryant defeated Leanne Stevenson, Moyna Rue and Rosemary Probert 25-13. Jeanette played lead and second.
The Lucky Draw was won by Tracey Fitzgerald with No. 39.
Two Canowindra teams represented our club at Orange Newstead Presidents Day held on Thursday, March 12.
The teams were Daph Bryant, Liz Thornberry and Christine Pickard and Colleen Crump, Gwen Haydon and Betty Jenkins.
They all enjoyed their day of bowls and fellowship.
