Mr Beath is in the running for the TransGrid Leadership Award for his work with the Canowindra Showground Racecourse Land Managers.
Mr Beath's various achievements were outlined in his nomination, including the awarding of different grants in the past year.
"Over the past 12 months we have successfully obtain three grants which have enabled us to update the facilities," the nomination said.
"The community in general will benefit from the upgrade of the facilities and with the new buildings it will attract more visitors to the Cabonne shire."
Mr Beath's nomination also noted the work done by the team.
"The team has always work hard to ensure that the grounds maintain a high standard and always ensure it is inclusive and works very well with the community," the nomination said.
"COVID-19 has been a challenge but the team has worked to ensure that all members and the community remain safe.
"As a team we dedicated our time to ensure that the Canowindra community have a modern and beautiful showground that all of the community can enjoy."
The TransGrid Leadership Award focuses on the fact that "tenacity, dedication, selflessness and leadership are the key qualities of those amazing individuals who are the "driving force" in their community".
Judging will commence on September 23 and the awards will be presented on Friday, November 20, 2020.
