The consultations were designed to continue the conversation on from initial meetings where the history, strengths and weaknesses of the two town centres were pulled together to form issues papers on both towns. There were a combination of day time drop in sessions, as well as evening sessions held in Molong and Canowindra, with an excellent local turnout for all events.
Urban design is about creating functional and long-lasting spaces that residents of Cabonne and visitors to the region will want to spend time in.
"It is great to see so many interested groups getting to have their say at events like these," Mayor Kevin Beatty said, having attended the evening sessions in both Molong and Canowindra.
"Residents of Molong and Canowindra should be proud of their attendance and ideas."
As with the previous issues paper, the information provided to the consultants will be collated and be available for public exhibition and comment in the coming months.
