The Chamber said this week it is pleased to announce Cabonne Council has come on board to the tune of $500 "plus moral support".
Council's involvement means that Canowindra shoppers will have the chance to win three shopping voucher prizes if they shop locally in the lead up to Christmas this year.
Running from Wednesday, November 25 until Saturday, November 28 everyone who shops and spends at least $10 at a participating business will receive a ticket for the draw.
For each $10 you spend you will receive one ticket.
Purchases of alcohol and for gambling are not eligible.
When you receive a ticket simply put your name on the ticket and place it in the entry barrel that the Chamber hopes to have placed outside the Old Vic Inn.
Prizes will be $300 to the winner, $200 for the second ticket drawn and $100 for third.
"There may be other prizes offered by retailers," the Chamber said.
The prize vouchers must be redeemed by March 31, 2021.
The draw will take place on Saturday, November 28 at 7pm outside the Old Vic Inn.
"Last year we had nearly 100 per cent involvement, including from Ferguson and Blatchford Street (businesses)," the Chamber said.
The promotion is open to all businesses.
A representative of the Chamber will be contacting businesses with details on how to be involved in the next month.
"All they have to do is agree to take part and hand out the tickets," the Chamber said.
