Cabonne Council has been awarded a grant as part of the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment's Everyone Can Play program to create inclusive play spaces at Morris Park in Canowindra and at the Dr Ross Memorial Recreation Ground in Molong.
The Everyone Can Play program is a commitment by the NSW Government for the creation of better and more inclusive play spaces across NSW.
The program supports councils to create and upgrade play spaces across the state to ensure that people of all ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds can play.
The NSW Government has committed $87,430 to the Morris Park inclusive play space and $95,865 to the play space at the Molong Recreation Ground, with Council matching these figures.
To see a concept design of the proposal and offer feedback, please take our short survey by visiting cabonne.nsw.gov.au and clicking "Have Your Say".
If you would like to speak with Council about the proposed play spaces, a representative will be available at the following locations on Thursday, October 8:
Dr Ross Memorial Recreation Ground, Molong - 12 - 1:30pm.
Morris Park, Canowindra - 2:30 - 3:30pm.
