Up in time for this weekend's Christmas Shopping event the Santas look a little different, with Lions Club's Alison Newcombe saying the Santas had been in need of some love.
"They really needed a revamp, the faces were not very nice and they were very big," she said.
"So quite a few of the Lions have gone through and re-done them.
"They've been trimmed down and repainted before being put back up around town.
"They look a lot friendlier and not so scary to the children."
Locals can check out the new look Santas throughout the main street and around town.
