The event, featuring Canowindra's very own Sophie Payten who performs under the stage name of Gordi, is shaping up to be a great night out at the recently upgraded Canowindra Showgrounds.
With food stalls, bar and live music from 5pm the event will be a family friendly outdoor event featuring the amazing musical talents of 2020 ARIA nominated Gordi.
The CEF is proud to have the support of Gordi and also Bonny Rai, Ben Nash (78 Saab) and Joe Wythes who will be sharing the stage throughout the evening.
All performers have family roots stemming from the Canowindra community.
"I think everyone enjoys live music and we are fortunate enough to have some very talented musicians from our area who are willing to give of their time to support our local CEF," Foundation member Peter Stacey said.
"The musicians didn't hesitate to offer their services to help our local youth achieve their goals."
The Country Education Foundation Canowindra was established to provide much needed financial assistance and support to local youth to help them achieve their post high school education, training and vocation aspirations.
They recognise that the cost of rural students pursuing their post high school goals is often much greater than those of their metropolitan counterparts and that sometimes these costs can be prohibitive.
With this in mind, CEF Canowindra fundraises throughout the year and accepts donations from local residents and businesses in order to provide financial grants to students who need an extra helping hand.
The funds come directly from your local community - none of it is government funded - celebrating the aspirations of local youth and working to help them achieve these aspirations.
Tickets are available online from Eventbrite.
