The winning artwork will be acquired by Cabonne Council, and join Michael Carroll's winning 2020 painting "Gordon's Garden" in the Cabonne Council Art and Heritage Collection (to be established).
First prize is $4250.
There are also categories for the young artistic talents of the Cabonne area: for secondary and primary school students.
There are prizes for first, second and third.
There's also a people's choice prize of $1000.

Applications close Friday, February 19 and works are to be submitted between Monday, February 22 and Friday, February 29.
Notification of selection will occur on Friday, March 12 and the exhibition will open Saturday, March 27.
