Picnic races booked out as Bedgerabong prepares for big day

Nearly 2000 race goers will head to the Bedgerabong race track this Saturday for the sold-out picnic race meeting.

There are no tickets available at the gate this year, and all attendees are asked to scan the QR code with their smartphone on arrival and register their details to comply with COVID-19 regulations.

Gates open from 11am, and buses will be departing Victoria Park in Forbes from midday to 2pm at $7 a head.

Return buses start at 6.30pm from the hall to the Albion Park bus stop. Last bus will be approximately 10.30pm.

Fashions on the Field should be spectacular once again with Myer continuing as a sponsor.

The categories are Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Gentleman, Best Head Piece, Local Best Dressed Lady, Local Best Dressed Gentleman, Local Best Dressed Junior.

Josh Maynard will take the stage after the last race - about 6pm - and racegoers are urged to take a seat on the beautiful lawn area and enjoy some excellent entertainment.
