Applications open this week for the second round of Cabonne Council's 2020-21 Community Assistance Program grants.
These grants are designed to provide an ongoing or sustainable benefit to local communities.
In order to be eligible for the Community Assistance Program, applicants must be a not-for-profit organisation in the Cabonne Local Government Area - these can range from sporting organisations, schools or charitable groups.
They also must be undertaking a project on non-commercial facilities within the Shire.
Each project will be assessed on its merits and the relative benefit it will return to the community.
Grants are provided on a 50:50 basis, but communities can provide their half of the funding through voluntary labour or in-kind contributions.
Applications for CAP funding open on Thursday, February 18, 2021 and will close at 5pm on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
The application form will be available on council's website at www.cabonne.nsw.gov.au from Thursday.
Further details about the grants can be obtained by contacting Cabonne Council's Grants Coordinator on 6392 3200.
The CAP guidelines and application form can also be found on council's website at https://www.cabonne.nsw.gov.au/News/Applications-are-now-open-for-Council-Grants-under-the-Community-Assistance-Program-202021.
