The following weekend the Tigers are back home for the final time during the regular season in what many believe is the likely grand final match up, a clash with the Manildra Rhinos.
The Tigers then wrap up the regular season with a road trip to Eugowra.
Just two points clear of the Manildra Rhinos on the competition table, next week's match could decide the minor premiers for 2021.
Due to the closeness of the two sides points for and against in the three remaining games could be crucial.
Leading into this weekend the Tigers have the best points for and against record in the competition with a points differential of 338.
By comparison the Rhinos points differential is 304.
The Rhinos, in their other two matches of the regular season, will take on the Trundle Boomers and Cargo Blue Healers.
On paper, at least, the Tigers look to have the kinder draw but coach Kevin Grimshaw isn't taking anything for granted especially considering the traditional rivalries that exist in the Woodbridge Cup.
The Tigers haven't been able to train over the past week because of the stay at home orders imposed on Cabonne, Orange and Blayney Shires, Grimshaw seizing the opportunity to give his side the time off.
"No training, they've had a bit of a rest, r and r for them, that was the idea, whether they did something on their own I'm not sure but I was happy to give them some r and r.
"At this time of the year it works out well for us with a big back end of the year coming up.
"We've got to play Manildra still after this week, they're running second so it will be a good challenge for us.
"And then our last game is against Eugowra which is their 100 year celebration day in Eugowra, that is going to be huge for them.
"We've got a big campaign coming up."
The importance of the Manildra game isn't lost on Grimshaw who is aware of the points differential between the two sides and doesn't consider the Tigers to have the easier run into the semis of the two sides.
"That last game against Eugowra will be huge.
"There's always a rivalry between Canowindra and Eugowra, that will be highlighted.
"And we've got to get through Grenfell this weekend, I'm expecting a pretty tough game there as well."
The Tigers will be without Logan Harris who is still out with a calf injury.
"The more time he gets to rest the better, I just want him right for the end of the season," Grimshaw said.
This weekend's games are dependent on stay at home orders being lifted.
