Cabonne Shire has a first dose COVID vaccination rate of more than 90 per cent.
As of October 11, 75.1 per cent of Cabonne's population over the age of 15 was fully vaccinated and 91.5 had received a single dose of the COVID vaccine..
At the same time Cowra's second dose vaccination rate was 79.5 per cent. It's first dose rate was more than 95 per cent of the population.
In Orange the first dose rose rate was over 95 per cent and 79.4 per cent of the population were fully vaccinated.
Despite the climbing vaccination rates Deputy premier Paul Toole has not ruled out the possibility of future, isolated lockdowns if cases skyrocket.
NSW residents were released from strict lockdown on Monday after months of being bound by stay at home orders, with the day being referred to as 'Freedom Day'.
People who have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine are now able to go into retail shops, dine out at pubs and restaurants, visit other people's homes, and no longer have to wear masks outdoors.
It was the first step in the the road to recovery for NSW, but Mr Toole has warned that lockdowns may not be entirely a thing of the past.
He said NSW Health will be closely monitoring areas where new cases of community transmission are still being recorded.
"It might be localised to be a town, a city or even a locality if there are concerns."
