Canowindra residents who haven't received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination have the perfect opportunity with a mobile clinic set up at the showground today from 10am to 3pm.

The clinic is walk-in and no bookings are needed for first doses of AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccines.

Second doses are also available by appointment.

Those attending need to bring ID and, where possible, Medicare card.

Those getting a second dose need to bring proof of your first.

The Pfizer vaccine is available to anyone over the age of 12 and those aged 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or nominated carer.

Residents are asked not to attend if they are unwell or waiting COVID test results, if they are a confirmed contact of a COVID-19 case or they have had any other vaccine in the last seven days.
