When voting was completed with the distribution of preferences on Monday three candidates from Canowindra were elected to the incoming council, Andrew Pull, Kathryn O'Ryan and Jenny Weaver.
Kevin Walker, who stood for re-election, missed out when the tallying of votes was completed.
Preferences saw Jenny Weaver make a stunning comeback, after being in a precarious position after the first preference count, to regain a seat on the council.
Molong's Kevin Beatty, who was mayor of the previous council, easily topped the vote at the December 4 election.
Pull and O'Ryan also polled highly, especially Pull at the Canowindra polling booth.
The nine candidates successful are Pull, O'Ryan, Beatty, Marlene Nash, Peter Batten, Andrew Rawson, Libby Oldham, Jamie Jones and Jenny Weaver.
