Member for Orange, Phil Donato stopped by the club last Thursday to officially announce the funding, which was secured in 2021 and follows on from past projects such as shade sails.
Mr Donato said the club would receive $9936 under the state government's Community Building Partnership program.
"The replacement of these old, weary fences with some brand new picket fences will certainly add to the feel and the appearance of facility," he said.
"I'm delighted to support the Canowindra Bowling Club's application for the grant for the replacement of the fence.
"Local bowling clubs in communities like this are really a meeting focal point for local communities and bring people together."
Canowindra Bowling Club Treasurer, Peter Taylor, said the members and patrons are looking forward to seeing the new fencing.
"The grant money is going towards a beatification project which involves doing the fence around the surrounds of the greens to add to the ambiance of the club," he said.
"The club is ecstatic, it's just another feather in the cap for us.
"We do it for the patrons obviously and it just makes it a bit more homely for them."
