The Matildas will learn of their 2023 World Cup opponents on October 22 when the draw is announced in Auckland.
The groups for the preliminary stage of soccer's premier women's event will be determined then, with the final to be played in Sydney on August 20.
The draw is set to be televised internationally and will showcase the host cities for matches in both countries.
The World Cup is set to open on July 20, 2023 at Eden Park in Auckland.
China, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines Vietnam, France, Spain, Sweden and Denmark have qualified, joining hosts Australia and New Zealand.
Defending champions the United States will play in the CONCACAF W Championship in Monterrey, Mexico, in July.
The top four teams at the tournament will advance to the World Cup.
