The round 3 match between the two sides was held at Eastern Suburbs in Sydney.
Despite losing only by 10 points there wasn't much in the game with the pythons digging deep and keeping Molong on their toes all game.
It was very hard to award points to the boys as they all played their hearts out with coach Connor Lamond declaring all the players deserved the points this week.
Pushed to hand out points, the three points this week went to tight head prop Angus Fisher.
Two points went James Watson with James Wolters and Max Irving picking up one point each.

The Pythons travel to Geurie this Saturday to take on the goats before returning home the following weekend for Friday night ladies night against Blayney on May 27.
"Our attitude in defence was amazing," coach Connor Lamond said after the match.
"That was probably one of the best performances from a Canowindra team in a long time and to do it down here was pretty special.
"That's just the start of what we can do, we're a team that just gets better and better.
"I couldn't be prouder of the Pythons today, that's for sure.
"We were down to 14 men and they scored with an overlap which they should have but we dug deep and scored a good try at the end," Lamond said.

The City fixture came about through the brains of Molong's Charlie Cooper after he previously had a stint with Easts in the Sydney rugby union competition.
"Easts do beach to bush round every year after the Emus and City local derby ... so I thought it'd be a good idea for Molong to have something similar," Cooper said.
