Mr Franklin was in Canowindra to witness a performance by the Omega Ensemble, a concert organised by Music in the Regions.
A packed audience witnessed the performance in the Canowindra Anglican Church.
"As always, they were spectacular - and the packed audience in the Canowindra Anglican Church agreed," Mr Franklin said.
"(Music in the Regions) is such an innovative program, ensuring that people across NSW have access to the best cultural offerings - no matter where they live," Mr Franklin said.
Music in the Regions is a state government funded initiative which takes some of the best musicians in the nation into country towns across the state.
It has a simple mandate: to provide high quality classical music, from small ensembles to chamber orchestras, familiar names to emerging talents to the people of regional NSW.
