On Sunday September 3 was a Flag Event sponsored by Ken Perry. The winner was Anthony Slaven with Mark Bevan in second place, Eddie Roberts in third and Paul Jeffress came in fourth.

There were no players in the nine hole competition. If anyone wants to play in this event turn up on Sunday morning. It is $4 to play and tee off is before 10am.

Wednesday Mid Week Competition
Wednesday's competition is a nine hole event in which anyone can play. The cost is $5 to enter for playing members.
Social members are $5 plus $5 green fees. Non members are $5 plus $10 green fees.
The winner takes 60 per cent of the entry fee and the runner up 40 per cent of the entry fee.
Tee off is anytime after 12 noon. All players go into the draw for the chook.
Golf Cars for hire
The Canowindra Golf Club has seven golf cars for hire. Cost is $25 for 18 holes or $15 for nine holes.
Darts News
Darts are on every Wednesday night. Names in by 7.30pm for 8.00pm start. Cost is $2. Everyone is welcome. So come along and have some fun.
Raffles
Saturday night winners were Tina Davies (2), Jodie Paton (2), Chris Wren (3), Malcolm Millar, Joe Armstrong (2), Joe Callan, Sue Vitnell, Bob Beeken, Fay Thomas and Lana Fisher.
There are 15 prizes - nine meat trays, one fruit and vegetable tray and five other prizes. Tickets are on sale from 6.30pm with the draw at 7.30pm.
The first Members Draw on Saturday Night wasn't won this week so next week will be $1000. The second draw will be $700. The 9pm draw was won this week so it will be $60 next Saturday.
Sunday raffle winners were Brian Moon, Gary Cross (2), Joe Callan, Marg Grant (2), Trevor Thompson, Doug Flannery, Ken Perry and J J.
The Monday to Friday draw was won again so this week it will be $60. It is drawn between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
Footy Tipping
The last round has been played and the nail biting is over for those trying to hang on to the paying places. There was no chance in the leader board.
Big Kev kept his lead and ended up the winner with 121 points. Bordo secured second place with 119 points and Wendy and Blue remained locked together on 118 points to share third place.
The Tipping Party is on Friday night at 6.30pm. Please let us know if you are coming for catering purposes.
