Canowindra added its own unique signature to Anzac Day today (April 25) as dozens of hot air balloons also greeted the sunrise, along with the Dawn Service, as part of the continuing 18th National Hot Air Balloon Championships.

The Dawn Service started at 6am in Memorial Park, with dozens taking up the invite for breakfast following the service at the Canowindra Services club.
Canowindra's main Anzac Day service will commence at 10.45am with a march down Gaskill Street to Memorial Park where the service will continue at approximately 11am.
Those wishing to march are required to assemble at 10.30am outside the Junction Hotel near the corner of Ryall and Gaskill Streets, anyone wishing to lay a wreath or flowers please have your name added to the list to be read out.
