You'd be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn't know what an Akubra hat is – as Anzac Day approaches, there will be hundreds adorning the heads of returned soldiers. But turning the wide-brimmed bush hat into an item that is bought by a different market to its traditional rural customers is another matter.
