The final performance saw more than 200 people attend, raising thousands in much-needed funds for the fire-damaged Moorbel RFS shed.
Brigade Captain Lawrence Parrish thanked the cast and community for their support.
"I'd like to say a big thankyou to all the business and the people who came along."
"When we start building the new shed, that money will go towards things like radios, torches, helmets, tables and chairs and they don't supply the tools with the trucks so we'll be able to replace them too-a big thankyou to everyone for all your help."
Co-writer and actor, Ian Guihot gave a special thanks to the businesses who supplied prizes for the raffle, including the Belabula Butcher, Lawrences IGA, Barry Burn's Garage, The Canowindra Trading Post, Canowindra Post Office, Canowindra Bottle Shop, Canowindra Pharmacy, K&H Interiors, Deli Lama, Services and Citizens Club, Kinselas Farm Supplies, Taste Canowindra and the Canowindra Newsagency.
Mr Guihot also thanked the cast and everyone who supported them
“The cast were simply the greatest, it makes me proud the dedication, commitment and the professionalism of them all to the production. I can hardly wait till next year, so everyone be prepared to laugh yourselves silly next time,” he said.
“To all of those who donated to the cause each and every dollar is appreciated.”
After quite a few years away from the spotlight, Mr Guihot said an impressive performance was also seen by wife Debbie.
“She came on as an understudy for the first time in 35 years,” he said,
“She was a bit nervous but she just took her glasses off and said ‘that way they can’t see me and I can’t see them.”
