Beth Bowd has the popular cake stall at the monthly markets and said there's no such thing as too many bags of flour.
"This weekend coming I should have about 80 different varieties of cakes and I start on Tuesday with the biscuits," she said.
"I'm baking right up until Saturday, usually until about midnight."
While all the cakes, slice and biscuits are snapped up, Mrs Bowd said there's always a winner in the cake stakes.
"It's the apple pies, definitely. I do sell a terrible lot of those," she said.
While she said it's common knowledge you "just can't have a market without a cake stall," Mrs Bowd said there's no shortage of treasures on offer at the Moorbel Markets.
"There's plants, garden ornaments, a lady that makes bags, giftware, fresh veges and lots of craft," she said.
"We have the potato man, Doug Dagg, that comes from Gooloogong - his spuds are the best I've come across."
With a hard-working committee of around 10 people, Mrs Bowd said the Moorbel Markets is a popular event, however the committee is always looking for more helpers.
"It'd be great to have some extra hands in the kitchen or running the stalls," she said.
"The Moorbel Hall ladies have a store, it's all donated goods and all proceeds go directly back to the hall.
"Anything we make out of the markets goes back to the hall and with that money we've almost completed the new kitchen."
From regular market goers to travellers visiting the region, the Moorbel Markets are a popular event, held on the first Saturday of every month at the Moorbel Hall from 8am - 12 noon.
Stall sites are $10; to book a site or for more information call Warwick Bowd on 02 6344 2025.
