The Tigers were under strength with eight regular players unavailable due to injury, work and family commitments.
The game started off at a solid pace and Trundle started to gain the territory advantage with a string of penalties, and the Tigers defence eventually cracked for Trundle to open the scoring.
The attempt at converting the try went wide and the Tigers were down 4-0.
After a weight of possession going to Trundle they went in for their second try after 13 minutes.
The Canowindra boys were hanging in and after getting a penalty to advance down into Trundles territory, they put on a try of their own.
On the back of some goods runs from Sam O'Malveney, they swung the ball wide to Moe Bermingham in a old fashion run around to offload to Mick Mason who put the ball down in the corner.
The kick was wide and Trundle led 8-4.
Unfortunately Stuart Scott received a knock to the head and had to be replaced and took no further pat in the game.
A few minutes later Blake Willson sustained a cut lip from a strong tackle from his own team mate, just unlucky as Blake was having his usually strong game around the ruck.
These changes in the side took its toll and Trundle ran in their third try right on the half time hooter which was converted and Trundle led 14- 4.
The Canowindra boys tried hard during the second half but with Trundle having the greater possession they couldn't hold them out and the score blew out to finish at 38-4.
Coach Matt Frazer tried hard all day along with Aaron Earsman, Moe Bermingham and Sam O'Malveney.
Mick Mason played strong and relished the move to fullback and Matt McLean defended well.
This team will give any team a shake up this season with the heart every player showed on Sunday.
Best and fairest went to Matt Frazer 3, David Bermingham 2 and Aaron Earsman and Sam O'Malveney 1.
The result was Canowindra's first loss of the season which sees them slip to third on the competition ladder behind the unbeaten Boomers and Cargo Blue Heelers.
Earlier in the day the Canowindra Tigers league tag side lost narrowly 20-16 also against the Boomers.
Best and fairest points went to Hayley White 3, Jess Coker 2 and Kathy Davis 1.
The girls are now placed fourth behind Eugowra, Condobolin and Grenfell.
This Sunday the Tigers take on Manildra at the oval and this will be a spectacle not to miss with plenty of feeling between the two sides.
