From 8.30am to 12.30pm Mark will talk passionately about his thoughts and research findings on how to best manage as a whole, our landscapes, ecology, animals, businesses and people.
Morning tea will be provided.

“Oatleigh” is 10km from Canowindra on George Russell Drive on the left.
From Cowra come out Binni Creek road till you meet George Russell Drive.
Turn left towards Canowindra and travel for 10km “Oatleigh” is on the right.
After completing university studies in Agricultural Science, Mark worked as a wool classer, Jackaroo and property overseer for a number of years in the Western Riverina around Hay.
After three years he joined Hassall and Associates, as a Farm Management consultant in Dubbo.
In 1996, after four years, he left to form his own business.
The day will provide a focus on:
- Ecology – what makes a regenerative farm
- What makes a profitable farmer
- Risk – how we manage it
- Resilience – making the best decisions during times of adversity and making the most out of good conditions
- How we bring it all together to create a regenerative, profitable farm.
