The scrap book designer and owner of Federation Fotos is now the very proud member of the Australian - New Zealand design team for the American Scrapbook company, Chatterbox.
As a member of the team, Robyn's layouts will be featured in several books to be published and distributed world wide over the next 12 months.
Robyn is already published in several Australian Scrapbooking magazines and is very excited about going international and the opportunity ahead.
The chance came during a recent trip to Sydney to attend a Scrapbooking convention, where she attended classes held by Tracy White (editor of the American magazine Creating Keepsakes), Jennifer Ditz McGuire (creative designer for Hero Arts & Autumn Leaves) and Robin Johnson (author and Creative designer for Making Memories & Autumn Leaves).
"An event of this calibre with American scrapbook artists is an opportunity that comes up rarely
outside the United States," Robyn explained.
While on this Convention, learning and having a little fun, one of Robyn's dreams was also fulfilled, when she was asked to join the internationally renowned company.
Robyn will join other pre-selected members of the team, including Maxine Hazebroek, Janine Koczwara, Samantha Dorn, Sarah Moore, Chris Millar, Debbie Kingston, Yvonne Lewis & Roz James.
The popularity of scrapbooking continues to grow, as a new and creative way to preserve memories.
Robyn's passion for it began nearly five years ago, and she regularly travels to conventions throughout Australia.
Scrapbook artists like Heidi Swapp, Kerrin Quall, Catherine Mims, Dee Sutton and Julie Firmstone have influenced Robyn's scrapbooking and her passion soon took off, expanding into her photography and retail business.
Now scrapbooking is a major feature of her business, with a growing online presence and her range of products is extensive.
She regularly holds workshops in the store and for more information, check out her website www.federationfotos.com.au.
