Last week, Lodge Canowindra presented a healthy cheque, raised from its Car Boot Sale in March, to Fitness Path representatives.
This weekend, a Wood raffle will be run on Saturday, with firewood supplied by the Canowindra Pythons Rugby Club.
Thanks to Stuart and Alex Gavin, Daniel Bowd and Todd Wyburn, for their efforts and donation. While on the subject of rugby, they have now deposited $447.30 from donations from their gate entry. Remember all home games are free this year, with a voluntary donation to the Fitness Path.
Then, later in the year, the committee will be holding a Ball on Saturday, July 14, at the Canowindra Services Club.
The night will consist of live and silent auctions, games and raffles and there will be a live local band to dance the night away.
Tickets are just $25 per person, with a BYO basket supper.
If anyone wishes to make a donation to be auctioned on the night, please contact Margaret Morriss on 6340 3311.
Tickets to the ball go on sale Wednesday, May 23, or can be purchased at the raffle stall this Saturday in front of the IGA.
Cheers,
The Fitness Path committee
