POLICE have allegedly located and seized seven firearms, jewellery, cash and illicit drugs, while two people have been charged following a search warrant at a home in Blayney on Thursday.

At about 6.15pm officers attached to Chifley Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Carcoar Street.
It will be alleged, during the search warrant, police located the following items: a shortened .22 firearm, alleged to have been stolen: a .303 gauge shotgun, a .12 gauge shotgun, four other firearms (two which are believed to have been stolen), two carpet pythons; cash, jewellery, collectors coins and cannabis.
All items were seized for forensic examination.
Two men at the location, aged 20 and 22, were arrested at the scene and taken to Blayney police station.
The 20-year-old man has been charged with firearm, drug and possession of fauna offences. He was granted conditional bail, to appear at Blayney Local Court on Tuesday, August 4.
The 22-year-old man was charged with firearm, drug and property offences. He was granted conditional bail and will also appear at Blayney Local Court on Tuesday, August 4.
