Miso soup, a traditional Japanese dish, has a deeply rooted history and the ritual is passed on from mothers to daughters in Japan.
The performance will feature composer Terumi Narushima, storyteller and animateur Mayu Kanamori, actress Arisa Yura and Alex Salter, a screen composer and electronic musician.
Awase Miso was first performed at Modern Art Project's WEST, an independent artist-run project space in the Blue Mountains and is now sponsored by Rosnay Organic Farms.
Awase Miso will be held on Saturday 10th October from 6:30pm - 8pm at All Saints' Anglican Church, Belmore St, Canowindra. Tickets at the door are $25 for general admission and $15 for concession.
