Outstanding players in first grade and second grade were recognised for their efforts throughout the year.
Second grade captain Nick Traves cleaned up the major awards including Canowindra cricketer of the Year and Twenty20 player of the Year while youngster Angus Fisher collected the prestigious Josh Lynch Memorial Trophy - awarded to a first grade player who gives his all each week.
First grade captain Brendan Traves took out the best and fairest in the top grade along with the bowling average.
Award winners were-
First grade:
Best and fairest- Brendan Traves; Bowling average- Brendan Traves; Batting average- Peter Guthrie; Captains award- Angus Fisher; Most ducks- Matt Harrison and Clint Cole.
Second grade:
Best and fairest- Nick Traves; Bowling average- Nick Traves; Batting average- Nick Traves; Captains award- Ian Pengilly; 100s- Craig Carpenter 104, Austin Pengilly 101*, Jacob Devlin 127; Most ducks- Blake Livingstone.
Cricketer of the Year: Nick Traves.
Twenty20 player of the Year: Nick Traves.
Josh Lynch Memorial Trophy: Angus Fisher.
The Canowindra cricket club would like to thank the Canowindra Services Club for their continued sponsorship and support and also family and friends for who come along and support each week.
The players will be gearing up for a bigger and better season in about five months time.
