Building a great compost is not just throwing kitchen scraps into a bin, it's a blending of art and science.
At Soil by Design, who are running the course, they specialise in reviewing your soil for its mineral and biological make-up to make sure these are aligned to the type of crops and plants you wish to grow.
No matter if it is a back-yard in the city or a large scale farm, the use of soil biology and judicious use of minerals will remediate the soil and save you money on fertilisers and other additives through natural nutrient cycling.
Join them at the Rosnay workshop to get the recipe, ingredients and the baking right to create rich, nutritious soils.
Come and get your hands dirty, it's guaranteed to make you happy!
You’ll learn everything you need to know to make a brilliant compost to create living soil inside a month, and kick it along with compost tea for quick results.
You will also explore a variety of other compost methods such as hot and cold composts, worms and other animals to suit your specific situation.
For the backyard gardener to broad-acre farmer, in this case, size doesn't matter!
Bring your gloves, the workshop includes practical and theory, notes, tea and coffee.
Cost is $75 each, or book a group of 3 or more together at $55ea.
