More than $100 cash and up to $70 in scratchies was taken while damage was made to the cash register and front door.
Police from Canobolas Local Area Command say the premises on Gaskill was broken into about 4am on Saturday morning, after unknown persons forced entry through the front door.
Mr Rice said Gaskill Street CCTV footage reveals three persons outside his shop at that time.
“They must have jimmy’d the door open, run away and waited about four minutes to see if an alarm goes off, then they came back and spent about six minutes in the shop,” Graham Rice said.
A quantity of one dollar and two dollar coins was taken, along with scratchies, while silver coins were scattered around the cash register.
Mr Rice said his business has been targeted in the past however an alarm system had been connected.
A crime scene was established and police have searched for fingerprints.
