Federal Member for Calare, Andrew Gee has announced the Canowindra Bowls and Recreation Club Ltd. were successful under Round Three of the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Programme.

“I’m delighted to announce that the Canowindra Bowls and Recreation Club Ltd. have been awarded an $11,000 grant under Round Three of the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Programme,” Mr Gee said.
“The funding will go towards enhancing the outdoor area at the club, including new decking and a playground area.
“The new outdoor entertainment area will create new space for members and visitors to enjoy and the weather-proof additions for the playground will allow children to play all year round.”
The Federal Government committed $22.5 million to Round Three of the Stronger Communities Programme in the 2017 Budget.
