Dear Editor,

I am sending you this email in acknowledgment of the service and effort provided by Ms Julie Fliedner and her staff of the Canowindra Services and Citizens Club for the Canowindra Class of 1968 Reunion held on Saturday evening September 8.

Ms Fliedner and her staff went to great effort to ensure that our function would be a success.

Communication was open for us from first contact more than a year ago and there was never any issue that was any bother.

The venue was set up the day before the event and our expectations were certainly met, the food was great, the staff were friendly and efficient and we were never rushed or hurried.

We had a wonderful evening during which to reminisce our school days from so long ago.

We can recommend the Canowindra Services and Citizens Club to anyone planning any type of event requiring venue, meals and staff to take care of all your catering needs.

Approximately 20 of we former student attended a breakfast at the 'School on the Hill' the following morning. We were catered for by the school's P & C, with bacon and egg rolls and then enjoyed a tour of the school given by the school principal, Sharon.

What a wonderful learning environment children of today have in their school at Canowindra.

With many thanks from all of the Class of 1968.

Yours Sincerely,

Fred Maskill
