At about 9.45am on Tuesday the Bureau of Meteorology published a graphic which showed Canowindra categorised as ‘severe thunderstorms possible’.
According to www.weatherzone.com.au, if the storms do arrive it will likely be later in the day.
“High chance of showers and the chance of a thunderstorm, most likely this afternoon and evening,” the website’s daily forecast predicted.
The good news is that the possible wild conditions look likely to bring some rain, with an 80 per cent chance of between 10 and 20 millimetres forecast.
Other parts of the Central West, including Dubbo, Parkes and Forbes, were categorised as ‘severe thunderstorms likely’ for Tuesday’s weather events.
