TWO men have been airlifted to hospital with serious burns following a car accident on Wednesday evening.

Emergency services were called to Burrendong Way at Mumbil, near Burrendong Dam, at 6.45pm following reports of an accident.
NSW Ambulance media spokesman said four paramedic crews were called along with two rescue helicopters.
“Two people were transported to Royal North Shore with severe burns and head injuries,” he said.

“One patient was a 26-year-old male who had partial burns to his face, neck, chest, arms and abdomen.
“The second patient was a 36-year-old male who had burns to his face, arm, leg and forehead.”
They were airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
