Hidden amongst its iconic hills are award-winning producers who have been creating some of the country's finest food without fanfare, until now.
The town's providores will be celebrated at Relish Eugowra - its inaugural long lunch, which is part of Orange F.O.O.D Week.
Renowned chefs from Eat Your Greens are teaming up with Gundamain Feedlot, Eugowra Game Birds, Honey Brothers, Sitie's Zate Olives and local vignerons on April 13 for a fine dining feast under the gum trees.
Eugowra Game Birds is the only pastured quail farm in Australia (and the world) and recently won gold in the Delicious Produce Awards 2018.
Partners Leanne Crofts and Brendan Sheldrick, former chef of Rockpool Bar & Grill in Sydney, breed, hatch and hand raise their birds, which then make it on to the menus of some of the best restaurants in the country.
Brendan will put on the chef's hat once again at Relish Eugowra, demonstrating how to cook quail on open flame.
This small town - also has a big voice, Cath Adams, The Voice finalist who will be performing at the event.
"We really wanted to show people what Eugowra has to offer. Great produce, great venues and great talent," Eugowra Events and Tourism Association spokesperson Jack Barnes said.
Relish Eugowra is at Eat Your Greens on April 13, starting at noon.
There are only a handful of tickets left and details are available online at www.relisheugowra.com
