Data released from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade shows a town-by-town breakdown of just how many applications were made.
By far the most number of passport applications came from residents in Orange with 3106 during the 12-month period.

Bathurst was not too far behind with 2654 applications during the year, while Dubbo had 2430 and Mudgee 1106.
Every other location in the region recorded less than 850 applications, with 837 made in Lithgow, 587 in Young and 532 in Parkes
