The Central West Tractor Trek group's 24-hour Tractorthon is returning for the second year running this weekend.
The event will see drivers hit Canowindra Showground's trotting track in four tractors from 2pm August 3, to 2pm August 4, to raise funds for Little Wings.
Canowindra driver Roy White said it was fantastic to support a charity helping rural children.
"For sure it's Mickey Mouse, when you see the kids that come up and thank you for what you are doing it blows you away," he said.
"The pilots are all volunteers and the drivers in Sydney are all volunteers, they've been out to Cowra 25 times this year and 130 times to Dubbo.
"It really is something."
Mr White said it was exciting to see local teachers taking part in this year's 24-hour event.
"We'll have teachers from St Edwards, Canowindra Public, Canowindra High and Canowindra Preschool driving between 11am and 12pm on Sunday," he said.
"Hopefully the kids will come along and barrack for them."
Last year's Tractorthon covered 330 laps and raised $12,500 for Little Wings.
The Tractorthon is part of the Central West Tractor Trek group's Tractor Trek on September 27 to September 29 and will see tractors travelling the Dubbo area visiting the Western Plains Zoo, Wongarbon and Beni.
