Massive out-of-control bushfire are continuing to burn across NSW, with 163 blazes listed on Fires Near Me at 7.30am on Friday.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian declared a seven-day state of emergency that commences on Friday to give additional resources to the NSW Rural Fire Service to battle the blazes.
While the region is undergoing heatwave conditions on Friday, the weather is expected to be more volatile on Saturday with firefighters on high alert.
On Friday, there is a very high fire danger in the following council areas: Bathurst, Blayney, Cabonne, Cootamundra-Gundagai, Cowra, Hilltops, Lithgow, Mid-Western, Oberon and Orange.

In Dubbo, Forbes and Parkes the fire danger rating is low-moderate.
The total fire ban runs until 11.59pm on Saturday, January 4.
During a total fire ban, no fire may be lit in the open and all fire permits are suspended.

This includes incinerators and barbecues which burn solid fuel such as wood, charcoal or heat beads.
No general purpose welding, grinding, soldering or gas cutting can be done in the open.
