Woodford Folk Festival began the Small Halls Festivals, focused on keeping small village halls alive by providing amazing Australian and International contemporary folk artists.
The opening local artist is Lusi Austin - her personality, voice and song-writing skills have made her the darling of the Central West.
Lusi's parents were recently forced out of their coastal home by fires and Lusi wrote a heart-felt song 'Our Black Summer' - which is such a perfect example of contemporary folk music.
Jack Carty from Bellingen has impressive credentials, having produced five albums, toured throughout the world and written music with the best writers.
His light tenor voice has a clarity that makes each word of his songs resonate in harmony with the instruments he uses.
As 2020 is the Year of Scotland in Australia, Siobhan Miller, our international artist is Scottish.
Siobhan is the only ever three-times winner of Scotland's Singer of the Year and is widely regarded as one of the 'foremost vocalists in Scotland'.
As a multi-talented singer songwriter, she has also played a role on the TV drama Outlander
The thrill of having such quality artists visit the Hall and sharing that evening with all is tremendously exciting.
And given our hot summers, you will be excited to know Woodstock Hall has almost finished a major refurbishment, and it now has air conditioning
Come early and have a meal - chicken skewer wraps with salsa or country layered salads.
You can also have a beer or wine courtesy of Woodstock Hotel.
Meals from 5.30pm, music starts at 7pm and the event finishes 9.30pm.
Please note, there will be a coin bucket for RFS fundraising to support Australia's bravest men and women.
Adult tickets are $25, concessions $20 and children $10.
They are available from Re'lish in Cowra, JJ Dresser's in Woodstock, online at https://festivalofsmallhalls.com/woodstock-2020/ or at the door on the evening.
Come and help the Hall shake it's old bones.
