Kids across Canowindra can dip into history and heritage these schools holidays with Central West Libraries.

Take home Rock, Paper, City Craft and Activity Packs are available at Canowindra Library.

Each pack contains two main activities - Rock, Paper, City, which is a cardboard city project and a Lego Challenge where children are encouraged to create iconic buildings in the Central West out of Lego.

There are competitions running for both activities with prizes up for grabs. To enter the Rock, Paper, City competition, drop in your creations with your name on the base to Canowindra Library.

For the Lego Challenge, take a photo of the original building and your Lego building and send them to library@cwl.nsw.gov.au

Entries close Wednesday, July 29.
