Canowindra captain, Jamie Austin, said the side had enjoyed a massive improvement on form from their opening match against Cudal.
"We batted first and got 195 with Brendan Traves and Sammy Austin having a really good partnership scoring 50 each," he said.
"Everyone was much better this week, a lot more patience and played much better shots so we had a much better outcome.
"We were much better in the field with a lot of great catches, our wicket keeper Craig Carpenter took five catches so he had a really good game.
"All the bowlers did their jobs most took two wickets each, Brendan Traves took two, Sammy Austin got one and I got two. Shaun Craven he took 3/7 so he did quite well."
Canowindra will now host Millthorpe at Tom Clyburn Oval this Saturday, with Austin saying the side was preparing well.
"It will be very similar to last week making sure we work on batting, work through the overs and keep nice and tight in the field," he said.
"A bit of fielding practice will go a long way I'd say.
"It should be fairly similar to last year we always have a pretty close game with them so it should be a good one to watch."
Austin encouraged the community to come out and enjoy a day at the cricket.
"We always love people coming and watching," he said.
"There's plenty of seats down there and if you find spot in the shade it's quite nice, so we'd love to have some spectators come and watch.
"It's a good excuse to get out and about."
