Called The Songs and Stories Tour taking place on November 20 and 21, the duo will be performing songs from each of their country releases, while sharing the stories behind the songs.
Joining them will also be Raechel's multi-instrumentalist husband Ben Whitchurch, who will perform alongside each artist.
"It has been nearly four years since I've performed a show in Parkes and I'm so excited to be sharing songs from my unreleased new album for the first time ever," Raechel said.
"Parkes has played such a special part in my life, it is even where I met my husband, and I love coming back home and seeing so many familiar faces in the crowd."
Raechel has spent her entire life immersed in Australia's country music scene and said while growing up in regional NSW listening to music, a family favourite was anything by Colin Buchanan.
My love of storytelling was shaped and grown by the songs Colin wrote," she said.
Colin is a winner of ARIA, APRA and Golden Guitar awards, is Australia's number one kids Christian artist, a picture book author, a beloved ABC TV Play School presenter and proud creator of the Bucko & Champs classic, "Aussie Jingle Bells".
Colin has also co-written hit songs with the cream of Australian country music, including Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley and Adam Harvey.
Raechel was raised in Broken Hill and Parkes, as well as in a caravan, growing up playing the mandolin, guitar, banjo, and keys, and was the primary songwriter, in her family's travelling band The Lees.
Raechel and Colin will perform at the Canowindra Ex-Services Club on Saturday, November 21.
