A COMMERCIAL fire on Rankin St has destroyed a business and two others damaged overnight.

The fire broke out at approximately 2.10 am on Monday, December 28 with fire brigades from Forbes and Parkes attending along with teams from local Police, Ambulance, NSW RFS and Essential Energy.
Deputy Captain, Andrew Rousell from Forbes Fire Brigade said the fire was being investigated.
"We were called out to a fire located at 132 Rankin St at around 2.10am involving a TV and phone store along with a tobacconist and a dry cleaners," he said.

"On arrival we found smoke issuing predominantly from the TV and phone store.
"The fire took about two hours to contain and we were able to put the fire out, however it appears the TV and phone store has been completely destroyed.
"The tobacconist shop suffered fire, smoke and water damage, while the dry cleaners suffered damage from smoke and water.
"Police and crime scene investigators are continuing their investigations into the cause of the blaze.
