Time is running out to enter the annual Cabonne Acquisitive Art Prize, which offers a total of nearly $6,000 in prizemoney to Cabonne artists young and old.

The winner of the major award, the Cabonne Acquisitive Art Prize, will receive $4,250, while a People's Choice award will be worth $1,000 in prizemoney.
There are also awards to be presented for first, second and third prize in the Secondary and Primary School sections.
The winning artwork will be acquired by Cabonne Council and will join Michael Carroll's winning 2020 painting, "Gordon's Garden" in the Cabonne Council Art and Heritage Collection.
The art prize is open to any person living, working or attending school in the Cabonne Local Government Area.
All art works must be original, uncopied work, made solely by the artist with work commenced and completed within the last 12 months prior to February 19.
Entries close at 5pm, Friday, February 19 and works should be submitted between February 22 to February 26, with the exhibition opening Saturday, March 27.
